A good example of a sort of blah image turning into a much better image.
I took this photo a few weeks ago and post-processed in CS4. Results below:
How do you like it? (Me) I don’t like the effects any more :(




Today I've tried to work on the same photo one more time. I turned out my Last FM radio, played Emma Shapplin - Spente Le Stelle song and got much better results. I like this photo!!!

Now serious over-processing is rarely a good thing. But taking a photo that didn't look nearly as good when it was unprocessed and making it look great??? Well, that isn't less legitimate photography, in my opinion. Post-processing is an incredible thing where each photographer can add his or her own personal flare too their images. I absolutely LOVE post-processing but need to be more careful with it ;)
